Coronavirus Questions

Dear Patients,

As uncertainty around the novel coronavirus increases, we want to assure you that the health & safety of our patients, employees & community are our top priorities, & also let you know what we are doing to monitor & respond to this evolving situation.

We’re following the daily updates & advice from the NC DHHS & the CDC & have developed a comprehensive precautionary plan in the event of a worsening situation. We’re also taking precautionary sanitary measures in our office to keep our patients & employees safe.

We are open for business as usual, with newly extended hours to accommodate our patients affected by the coronavirus’s ripple effects to workplaces & home life.

Besides using a medical-grade disinfectant between patients – which is our normal protocol – we are also disinfecting & sanitizing every surface & commonly touched item in the office twice a day: doorknobs, light switches, countertops, etc.

Any patient who has had a cough, fever or close contact with someone diagnosed with Covid-19 in the last 14 days is asked to reschedule their appointment.

We are also checking the temperature of every incoming patient & every employee daily. If anyone has a temperature above 99.0°, they are either reappointed – in the case of patients – or sent home – in the case of employees – until they receive a doctor’s note to return to work.

All employees involved in patient care are, of course, wearing personal protective equipment to prevent the spread of infection: gloves, mask & eye protection. We have hand sanitizer on hand for anyone who wishes to use it.

Thank you for your continued support & understanding as we navigate this situation. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions.
